EISS Conference: public-private partnerships in statutory social security

The European Institute of Social Security will organise its 2009 conference in Athens, on October 1st and 2nd.

We are now launching a CALL FOR PAPERS for this conference, dealing with

PUBLIC PRIVATE PARTNERSHIPS IN STATUTORY SOCIAL SECURITY

Interventions should preferably deal with more than one country and should highlight the way in which private,- non-profit or commercial -, actors are being involved in the statutory social security system.

Interventions can be proposed for the plenary session or for the more interactive workshops. The workshops are especially fit for researchers about their ongoing research and wanting to discuss their most recent research results.

Applications with the title of the proposed intervention and a short description of its contents (1 page) should be sent to the EISS Secretariat kirsten.vandenbempt@law.kuleuven.be before January 1st, 2009. You will be informed whether or not you have been selected at the latest by
the 15th of February 2008.
